Take part in Woodland Management sessions on 29th October, 26th November or 17th December 2017, from 11am-2.30pm. We will be clearing the brambles and holly which are stifling the diverse ground flora. Friends of Sheaf Valley Park volunteers and Sheffield City Council Rangers will be present to guide you through the process of thinning and cutting back growth.
No specialist equipment is needed, but wear warm and waterproof clothing, boots and gloves. Please also bring a packed lunch with you.
We meet at the top of the steps, at the top of Norfolk Park near the metal bridge. Supervised children are welcome.
