Woodland Management Volunteering

Woodland management sessions 2017:

15th January, 29th January, 26th February, 29th October, 26th November, 17th December 11am-2.30pm. (Also guided walks in April and September.) We will be clearing the brambles and holly which are stifling the diverse ground flora. FOSVP volunteers and Sheffield City Council Rangers will be present to guide you through the process of thinning and cutting back growth.

No specialist equipment needed, but wear warm and waterproof clothing, stout boots and gloves. Bring a packed lunch and thermos. 

Meet at the top of the steps (at the top of Norfolk Park near the metal bridge)

Supervised children are welcome.
