Our Volunteering Fair is on 1st March!
Our next Volunteering Fair will take place on Thursday 1st March, at Sheffield Town Hall from 10am-4pm. There will be over 50 charities who are looking for volunteers like you, and you can find out how you can help them make a difference.
Charities at the Fair will include charities working; with animals, in arts and heritage, environment, health and social care, recovery, housing, community development, victim support, sport and wellbeing and those working with refugees and asylum seekers. There will be many opportunities, in different areas and activities, which the charities will be able to talk directly with visitors about.
We'll be posting updates on the event, and information on all the charities attending the Volunteering Fair is on Facebook and Twitter pages. There'll also be a full list of charities that will be at the Fair on this website soon.
Our last Volunteering Fair, in October 2017, was a great success. It was brilliant to see so many visitors, passionate about volunteering, finding the right roles for them. It was also a time to celebrate the important and essential work that charities do in our area. Thank you to all the charities, visitors and volunteers that made the event possible. We'd also like to thank Sheffield Lord Mayor, Councillor Anne Murphy, for attending and for her inspirational words about volunteering and charities.
