New Beginnings is a documentary filmed in 2006 about the experiences of three asylum seekers volunteering in Sheffield.
This is part one, James' story. He volunteered on the New Beginnings project and started a paid job as a result of the skills and confidence he developed whilst volunteering.
In 2009 he returned to the New Beginnings project in a paid capacity as a volunteer co-ordinator.
