Sheffield Volunteering Strategy
Volunteering is increasingly important to the economic, social and cultural fabric of Sheffield.
The Sheffield Volunteering Strategy was commissioned to make sure the city was at the forefront of best practice and exploiting all opportunities that exist.
There are three broad aims to the strategy:
- More volunteers
- Better opportunities
- Stronger partnerships
The strategy is a partnership between Sheffield First, Sheffield City Council, Business in the Community, NHS Sheffield, Voluntary Action Sheffield and the Volunteer Centre. It is led by Jack Scott, Strategic Volunteering Manager.
A copy of the Strategy can be found here.

This page will includes updates and information as the strategy is implemented.
