Roo is the first point of contact for enquries about becoming a volunteer or about developing and publicising volunteering opportunities. Roo coordinates our own team of volunteers, our drop in, and publicity for the Volunteer Centre.

Liz provides admin support to the Volunteer Centre. This includes responding to enquiries, collecting feedback, updating opportunities, and supporting events such as the Volunteer Coordinators’ Forum.

The New Beginnings Project enables refugees and asylum seekers to become volunteers. The coordinator is the link person between refugees and asylum seekers accessing the service and the organisations accepting volunteers. He provides advice and support to refugees and asylum seekers, manages volunteers within the project, and promotes the project.

Paul oversees the smooth running and development of the Volunteer Centre. He works with volunteer involving organisations to share learning on good practice in volunteering. He represents the Volunteer Centre in volunteering networks and partnerships, and promotes volunteering within the city.
Paul is also responsible for the development of volunteering opportunities and work placements for refugees and asylum seekers.
He is the key contact for organisations wanting to involve refugees or asylum seeker volunteers.
